Public Safety
Anna believes safety in our home is the ultimate luxury. She actively supports our police officers and served as Chair of the Advisory Committee on Public Safety (ACOPS). You can find her at “Coffee with a Cop” every first Wednesday of the month, showing her commitment to the Paradise Valley Police Department. As mayor, Anna will continue to fully fund our police and maintain community outreach programs.
Low-Density Development
Anna knows that once large hotels or big box medical buildings go up, we lose our open space and views forever. She believes in keeping our town beautiful without overdeveloping. Anna plans to work with resort developers, the Planning Commission, Town staff, and her council colleagues to find balanced solutions for resort development.
Limited Government
Anna is a staunch supporter of limited government. She advocates for improvements in technology, innovation, and communication to reduce the need for a larger staff.
Technology and Innovation
With increasing regulations and larger, more complex homes, Anna aims to serve residents efficiently through technology. She supports enhancing processes for plan reviews, permitting, and other transactions, rather than adding staff.
Communication
Anna promoted significantly improved resident communication through the Town Manager’s newsletter, Alert PV texts and emails, surveys, social media, and local newspaper reporting. She seeks to further empower residents with tools to find answers independently, building on initiatives like the recently launched Paradise Valley Citizen Portal for plan reviews and updates.
Traffic Management
With Maricopa County’s population growth, cross-town traffic will increase, straining our streets. As mayor, Anna will ask her council colleagues to support directing staff to model future traffic flows and develop management strategies. She values creative ideas from the community and will bring these forward for council and resident consideration.
